Acciaroli, usually called Capri of the Cilento Coast, is about 3 km far from Pollica and it belongs to its municipality.  This small sea village was awarded in 1996 both with the Blue Flag Beach and with the Five Sails of Legambiente (an Italian environmentalist association) thanks to the quality of its sea water and for its focus on a eco-sustainable  tourism. A large number of famous poets and writers chose this place thanks to its unspoilt nature and also to the colours of the coast.
